Cookie Policy | Theam Berttable Offline Poker Lounge & Grill

Cookie Policy Overview

At Theam Berttable, we use cookies in a careful and transparent way to support the premium, offline poker and dining experience you expect from our boutique Australian card room and grill. This page helps you understand which cookies we use, why we use them, and how you can manage your choices.

Cookies allow our website to remember essential details such as your booking preferences, the pages you have visited, and how you interact with information about our poker tables, Texas Hold'em tournaments, dining menu, and high roller lounge. They also help keep your browsing secure and consistent across devices.

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (such as your computer, tablet, or smartphone) by your web browser when you visit a website. They contain information that helps the website recognise your device and remember certain details about your visit.

On Theam Berttable website, cookies help us present our offline poker room, poker table information, Texas Hold'em tournaments, dining menus, and card room rules in a way that feels tailored, consistent, and secure. For example, a cookie may remember that you previously explored the Tournaments or Dining & Bar Menu pages, or that you started a reservation enquiry on our Contact & Reservations page.

Why We Use Cookies

Cookies help us maintain the smooth, light, and sophisticated digital experience that reflects our boutique offline poker lounge and grill in Australia. We utilise cookies for a number of reasons, all focused on comfort, security, and clarity.

Website functionality

Core

Essential cookies keep navigation stable, ensure our pages render correctly, and allow you to move between the poker, tournaments, lounge, menu, and FAQ sections without losing important information.

Secure experience

Protected

Security-related cookies help protect booking forms and contact submissions so that enquiries about poker tables, chip stack buy-ins, and private card room events can be sent with confidence.

Performance insights

Refined

Analytics cookies, where enabled, show us which pages resonate most — for example, interest in deep stack Texas Hold'em tournament schedules or gourmet dining options.

We do not use cookies for real-money gaming, cash wagering, or any monetary betting functions. All references on our website relate to offline social poker experiences using tournament chips, structured chip stacks, and blind structures only.

Types of Cookies We Use

Different cookies serve different purposes. Theam Berttable focuses on a carefully balanced set of cookies that support your journey from discovering our card room and poker tables through to booking a dining experience or high roller event.

Third-party cookies

Some cookies may be set by trusted third-party services we integrate with, for example embedded mapping tools for finding our venue, or secure booking technology that supports your reservation journey.

No cookies on our website are used for real-money gaming or gambling activities. All tournament references relate to social offline poker played with tournament chips and points only.

Managing Your Cookie Choices

You are in control of how cookies are used when you visit Theam Berttable website. You can manage, limit, or disable cookies at any time through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

View which cookies are currently stored on your device
Delete existing cookies individually or in bulk
Block cookies from specific websites
Block all cookies, or restrict them to certain types

If you choose to disable or block certain cookies, parts of our site may not function as designed. For example, some booking form functions, age confirmations, or navigation states may not be preserved between pages. However, you will still be able to access key information about our offline poker lounge, Texas Hold'em tournaments, card room rules, and dining offerings.

For detailed instructions, please refer to the help section of your chosen browser. Because settings are browser- and device-specific, you will need to manage cookies separately on each device and browser you use.

Your Privacy and Control

Respect for your privacy underpins how we present our boutique offline poker lounge and grill online. We apply the same care to your digital experience as we do to welcoming you to our physical card room and dining spaces.

Transparency

This Cookie Policy is designed to explain in clear language how cookies support secure navigation, offline poker information, and a refined, mobile-first experience across our site.

Choice

Where possible, you may opt out of certain non-essential cookies, such as analytics and experience-enhancing tools, without affecting core access to our poker, tournaments, menu, lounge, and FAQ content.

Access

You may request more information about the categories of data that may be associated with cookies and how they relate to your visit. For privacy enquiries, please contact us via the Contact & Reservations page.

Essential Cookies (Required)

Essential cookies are strictly necessary for the website to function and for you to move securely between our main sections, including offline poker details, tournament calendars, and dining reservations.

Because these cookies are fundamental to the site, they generally cannot be disabled through our internal tools. However, you may still choose to block them in your browser, which could significantly affect the site’s performance and security.

Examples of essential uses

Core site operation

Maintaining a consistent session while you browse the Poker, Tournaments, Menu, Lounge, and FAQ pages
Ensuring that age confirmations and key notices remain visible or hidden as intended
Allowing forms on the Contact & Reservations page to function securely

Impact of disabling

What may change

If you block essential cookies via your browser settings, some experiences may be limited, including:

Inconsistent navigation between poker and dining pages
Reduced security for forms and interactive features
Unexpected behaviour when loading or refreshing pages

We therefore recommend keeping essential cookies enabled for a smooth, secure visit.

Non-Essential Cookies

Non-essential cookies help us refine your experience but are not strictly required for the website to operate. These include analytics and experience-enhancing tools that provide insight into how guests interact with information about our offline poker lounge, Texas Hold'em tournaments, pot-limit omaha events, and culinary program.

Analytics and performance

Analytics cookies gather aggregated information about how visitors use our website. This may include which pages are visited most often, how long guests spend reading about deep stack chip stacks or blind structures, and whether certain navigation paths are more intuitive than others.

We use this information to improve readability, navigation, and the way we present essential details such as tournament structures, offline poker etiquette, and dining highlights.

Experience enhancements

Experience-enhancing cookies support optional comforts, such as remembering that you prefer to start on the tournaments schedule or that you recently viewed information about high roller lounge bookings. These cookies aim to make your future visits feel more intuitive and personalised.

You may opt out of these cookies where preference tools are available, or by managing your browser settings. Doing so will not restrict your ability to access our core information pages.

Third-Party Services and Cookies

Our site may include content or integrations from trusted third parties. These services support features that make it easier to find, reserve, and enjoy our offline poker lounge and grill.

Examples of third-party features

Helpful integrations

These providers may set their own cookies to deliver their services effectively and securely.

Staying informed

We recommend that you review the cookie or privacy policies of any third-party services you interact with through our site. Their practices and cookie use are governed by their own policies, not this Cookie Policy.

Regardless of third-party integrations, our venue remains a social card room where all poker is conducted with tournament chips and structured chip stacks only, with no real-money gaming or cash wagering.

Policy Updates and Contact

As our digital presence and the technologies we use evolve, this Cookie Policy may be updated to reflect changes in how we support your experience on Theam Berttable website.
